East China Fair, initiated in 1991 and thereafter 27 sessions have been held successfully. The 27th ECF was held at Shanghai New International Expo Center, from March 1st to 5th, 2017, with an exhibition area of 125,000sqm. There were four specialized exhibition areas with 5,780 standard booths and 3,441 enterprises, namely Fashion/Garments, Home Textiles, Consumer Goods and Art Deco Gifts. More than 145 overseas exhibitors were from 9 countries and regions such as Japan, South Korea, Iran, Malaysia, Nepal, Columbia, Western samoa, Hong Kong and Taiwan. A great variety of traditional and new products were displayed with more focus on high-tech, famous local brands. The 27th ECF had 21,433 business visitors from 120 countries and regions as well as 14,000 of their Chinese counterparts. The trade volume amounted to about 41.75 billion US dollars.
